I believe in your creative power. I believe it can help you tune into who you truly are... Who you're meant to be. And I believe this will change the world.

We just returned from our weekend excursion to the Adirondacks. We did a nice tour of pretty much the whole park. We started out in the southeast, traveled to the west (on rt. 28) and camped there along a beaver pond called Windfall Pond. That was located in what was referred to as the Pigeon Lake Wilderness area. We sat on a big rock on the pond, just a few steps from our campsite. As we ate our soggy avocado sandwiches we watched millions of baby fish swimming about. We soon came to throw them some bread and watch as swarms of them devoured it. It was a feeding frenzy! We hoped to see some beavers in the evening, but no such luck. We did however come to be spooked by strange music playing, seemingly coming from nowhere. It was the midst of the wilderness, with no other humans to be found anyplace within hearing distance. We concluded that this strange occurrence must have been a result of the echo, and overall strange acoustic quality of the spa, combined with the lucky directions of the breeze. Needless to say, the event was both magical and eerily scary.

The next day we hopped back in the car, headed back east a bit and then up north on route 30. We were determined to travel to the higher elevations located in the North East. This afforded us an opportunity to really make a large loop touring the lake region. One after another – gorgeous lakes with clean water and tall spruce trees. We ended up wrapping around and coming to Saranac Lake and Lake Placid, and visiting the Olympic arena. Then we headed back toward 87 on Route 73. That took us through some really high mountains, among which, right off the side of the road we discovered Chapel Pond. It was a beautiful, clean warm pond, with a sandy beach among gorgeous cliffs where we swam and played for hours. Once we were done we hesitantly decided it was time to leave heaven and go on home. We got on 87 but soon decided to stop at a rest area. There I got sucked in by the tourism info and discovered that only 2 exists from there exists a rock/cave tourist trap that has a rock shop, the remaining attraction we were hoping to find. So we stopped there and checked out the shop. It had some nice stones and awesome fossils. Then we enjoyed examining miscellaneous crystals and crystal balls, which I’ve been fascinated with due to their healing qualities. They had a good book I hope to get from the library on crystal therapies and their effects on chakras. A very fascinating topic I recently came across as I picked up a Malachite a friend had and was totally zapped by its power.

Anyway, that’s a whole other entry in itself. Getting back on the trip’s topic, I posted photos on the photo page. Go see!
