I'm really happy with the stuff I've been learning in Illustrator. It's really the first time I've been able to create original art work on a computer.
I had to bring this thing (which is theorized to be a pilot light generating mechanism of some sort) to class. Then I drew it in my notebook using flat shapes. Then I had to create those shapes on the computer. Then there was lots of tweaking. And finally application of color (first we did just greys, and then we got to play around with these nifty gradients.) Overall a nice project.
