I had such a blast yesterday meeting with two friends who appreciate creativity and art as much as I do. It was really fun to talk about upcoming projects, flip through each others' art journals and just share an art moment. And then, as if to top all of this off with a pile of whipped cream, we went art supply shopping! Oh what a JOY!! Ok, I think it's safe to say we went overboard on the stamps... but they were 50% off at A.C. Moore!! We couldn't resist as this was more of an investment than an expense, since we will use them for years to come in our art class.
It will be really fun to get together for class this Tuesday. I'm looking forward to showing everyone the new goodies and replenishing the supply room with our new goodies. I am also excited that starting September 1st, we are going to meet on Thursdays rather than Tuesdays, which will hopefully work for a few more people's schedules. So that means that we will still meet on Tuesday the 16th (tomorrow) and the 23rd, but that the week after that, we'll have to wait those extra 2 days to meet on Thursday, September 1st.
