Pictured above are my sketchbook with barcode on the back. This lets my book be tracked as it goes on a nationwide tour, as well as checked out form the Brooklyn Art Library after the tour ends. Plus, every time my book is viewed or checked out, I will get a message letting me know that someone's looking at it. There is also my handy dandy B'klyn Art Library Card which is a mysterious component of the project to me... but I'll try to figure what it's for later.

"Thousands of sketchbooks will be exhibited at galleries and museums as they make their way on tour across the country. After the tour, all sketchbooks will enter into the permanent collection of The Brooklyn Art Library, where they will be barcoded and available for the public to view. Anyone - from anywhere in the world - can be a part of the project. "
