I believe in your creative power. I believe it can help you tune into who you truly are... Who you're meant to be. And I believe this will change the world.

Love, Art & Acceptance

I have a suspicion that art is love, and love is art. I know that love is present in us at all times, and that it becomes available for us to feel once we simply let go of the feelings and thoughts that tell us that something is wrong. By accepting everything around us, and ourselves, we can tap into that feeling of infinite okayness. And in that okayness is a space of even sweeter love, that gives us strength and patience and desire to be attentive to the object before us. If that object is art, it can only be improved by this increased attention... hence through accepting my own art, I can love myself and it, and hence open to more energy which I can put toward improving my art.

Acceptance? What does that mean for me? It means that every letter I type, every stroke of my pen or pixel I push in the digital space is exactly where it is in exactly the way it is. It is not bad, not good, it just is. And then a feeling of visual happiness might arise. It's not bad or good, just is. And maybe I might feel like I don't feel attracted to a particular creation, and that's fine too. It just is what it is. Acceptance doesn't have to mean calling something ugly beautiful just for the sake of "approving" of it. It just means you accept it for what it is, and give it the space to be what it needs to be in that moment. At least that's how I've come to understand this within myself.
